1. Read Jeremiah 4:22, 5:7-13. How are you actively working to keep your children (or those children in your life) from becoming what these passages refer to?
2. Read Revelation 3:19. When you know the heart of God, being zealous in this area should come easier, right? Does it? What gets in the way of you welcoming rebuke from a loving father?
3. Read Haggai 1:2-11. What did the people not do? What was the Lord’s response? Where do you fit in this example?
4. Read Ezra 3:10-13. What were the two sounds the Israelites made when the foundations of the new temple were being laid? Which camp do you identify with? Why?
5. Read 1 Chronicles 28:20-21. There is work to be done today just as there was in Solomon’s time. Are you ready to do the work? Do you lack strength or courage? What can you be doing to gain strength and or courage?
