1. Read John 3:29-30. What is John telling his disciples? Why was this lesson important for those people to understand?

2. Read John 3:31. Does this verse speak to the importance of one’s origin? Why is Jesus’ origin important?

3. Read John 3:32-34. What human senses are mentioned in this passage? What actions are required to certify truthfulness?

4. Read John 3:34-36. Who sent the “one”? What does the “one” speak? What has the Father done for the Son?

5. Read John 3:36. What two actions are options for us? What eternal results are associated with those two options?

For pondering: You do not have to be educated to understand Jesus. Do not let lies hinder your acceptance of his love, grace, mercy and offer of eternal salvation.
